Privacy Policy

The Short Version:

We recognize and respect your desire and right to privacy.  The detailed
explanation of our Privacy Policy is below.  The simple short version is that
we will not sell or rent your information to anyone.  We will only use your
information to provide the product/service you are here for whether that is
access to our forum or other areas of our site, subscription ordering and
access, ordering from our store, or other site features not yet known.

We also analyze our site traffic for improvement purposes, in which case the
information is summarized and viewed only in aggregate.  Such aggregate reports
(without any individually identifiable information) may be shared with
advertisers to prove advertising performance, but no individually identifiable
information will be shared.

The only exception to the above is that we will of course cooperate with U.S.
or Canadian govt. agencies if they present a court issued warrant for
information or as otherwise required by law.

The Long Version:

When accessing our Website, Bus Conversion Magazine will learn
certain information about you during your visit. How we will handle information
we learn about you depends upon what you do when visiting our site.

If you visit our site to read or download information on our pages or post content
on our forum, we collect and store only the following information about you:

1. The name of the domain from which you access the Internet

2. The date and time you access our site

3. The Internet address of the website you used to link directly to our site.

4. Username

5. Password

6. Email address

7. Information that you optionally add to your forum profile

If you identify yourself by sending us an e-mail or other message type
containing personal information, then the information collected will be solely
used to respond to your message.

If you place an order in our Online Store or place a subscription, your full
name and address information is stored for the purpose of completing your
order.  Depending on the product/service ordered, that may entail providing
information to a third party provider.  Specifically, name & address
information to a shipping carrier and payment information to a payment
processor or bank.  Bus Conversion Magazine does not retain your full
credit card number or other credit card information.  It is provided to the
payment processor at the time of processing.  After that only a partial card
information is retained by Bus Conversion Magazine for record keeping
purposes.

The access information collected is for statistical purposes. Bus Conversion
Magazine may use software programs to create summary statistics, which
are used for such purposes as assessing the number of visitors to the different
sections of our site, what information is of most and least interest,
determining technical design specifications, identifying system performance or
problem areas and demonstrating ad performance.

For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available
to all users, Bus Conversion Magazine uses software programs to
monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change
information, or otherwise cause damage.

Bus Conversion Magazine will not obtain personally-identifying
information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide
such information to us, nor will such information be sold, rented or otherwise
transferred to third parties except as needed and described above for
processing your order/request.

We may release personally identifiable information and/or
non-personally-identifiable information if required to do so by law, or in the
good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with federal or state
laws (such as U.S. Copyright Law) or respond to a court order, subpoena, or
search warrant.

Although unlikely, in the event that Bus Conversion Magazine were
acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right, in any
of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information we have collected
as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control in order
to permit uninterrupted availability of products, services and web site features.
In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership,
or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or
equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able
to control how your personal information is treated, transferred, or used.
