Greetings Y'all,

TBR 2009 will be held on October 15-18, 2009.

Details will follow. There will be a formal registration form along with a small fee to offset some of the related costs so everthing runs smoothly, which will have to be paid one month prior. Wink

Mark your calendars for the Third Annual Texas Bus Roundup!

I moved it from September to October to hopefully avoid any hurricane madness and a little cooler weather for the evening campfires. Wink Maybe by then the price of diesel will be around a buck! Roll Eyes

Happy Trails,

Paul

Paul,

The wife and I are going to make this rally come Hell or high water so put us down as two more. I may bring along another couple but I'll have to find that out later.

Richard, That's great news! I know you've been trying the last couple of years to make it, maybe the third time trying is the charm! Wink

I will try real hard to put together the registration form during the holiday's and get it posted soon.

It's gonna be a good time!

Paul

Blu and I have it on our calendar. We will try our best and hope to renew old friends and meet new. We will be on the Chili Trail all summer, and will keep TBR in mind for throwdown.

Big John and Blu, Will you guys be bringing chili again? Cheesy

MattC, Hope you can make it, it will be great to meet you! We always welcome new faces.  Grin

Frank, Glad you guys are coming, we missed you this year! Cry

I'm going to throw this out to those who are coming, would any of you like to see some kind of seminar on any particular subject that would benefit the group?

I know Sonnie and Clifford have done subjects on various topics in the past, or should we keep it simple and do like always, laid back and free to do what you want?

Feedback would be great!

Happy Trails,

Paul

Paul, how about a seminar on the things we know how to do that many others don't. Like changing an air governor, or bleeding out a Detroit. As Nellie's problems show , many do not know some of the simple things we take for granted.

Big John,

Great ideas! Sometimes we take for granted some of the smaller things that can put a bus down. Nellie sure has had a time of it! She just needs to move to a warmer climate!  Roll Eyes

Keep the ideas coming!

Lord wiling Liz and I will bring our aluminum tent along.  We should be done in New Mexico by then, some skp kinda thing. It's a short jaunt through the pan-handle. =)

Where in Texas do you plan on holding this get together?  Someone in Chat suggested it would be Eisenhower park same as last year?

Matt.

Tami and I attended last year and we have to say this was one of the best rallies we have ever attended. To expand on Big Johns idea, it might be good to go to several engines and go though A to Z were every component is and what it does.
