I thought that we used to have a delete button, to delete our own posts. I could be mistaken. It would be handy to delete our own posts, on rare occasions  . Thanks for researching this. Merry Christmas, God bless, John |

You can use the modify button and just erase everything but you still leave a hole. Most will put "Post deleted" in it's place. Now the problem is if someone else captures what you posted and quotes it in their post. Then your stuck. There have been things looking back that I would like to erase, but we just have to move on and use the experience to be a little wiser next time. Because of our imperfections the big wheel comes around and will eventually roll over all of us. It has been my experience that most seem to forgive, forget and continue being BBFF (best bus friends forever).

Laryn, Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sweating it . We have a remove button on this board, and the OT board. I don't see one for the On Topic board. I just thought that it might help, if we could get that option turned on for the on topic board. Merry Christmas, God bless, John |

If I remember correctly, you have a delete option on all your postings for 24hrs.
After that it will go away.

Okay, Nick. I see the logic used. I still think a little longer would be nice... I just checked and that feature isn't turned on on the main board. I just put a post up, and there isn't a delete button. I am not making a big deal out of this, I just think that it would be nice.  Thanks for all that you do Nick.
