Thanks for the pics!!! Keep them coming. You guys look way too warm Grin Cheesy Grin.

John

We are in Wells NV. The bobcat is real handy here in winter.

John

That is so nice to have a loader. We had a S185 (2003 w 2000hrs), that we sold this summer. I can move our snow with my big snowthrower, so I don't miss it AS much in the winter. We will be getting another one soon (I hope).

God bless,
John

Man , I really want to go to one of Jack's rallies, but I am not sure it would be as much fun without the bus.  I just can't imagine driving a 2,800 mile round trip in a bus in the winter.  Not only can driving in the winter be dangerous, but the salt would wreak havoc on the bus.   I drove my bus ONCE in the winter (20 miles) and the salt caused a bunch of rust on my steel wheels, hitch, and hubs.

I'll have to think about my options.  Maybe I'll be able to save up enough to go next year if I don't get laid off.

I realized after I posted this that charter companies run buses in the salt all the time, but they also wash their buses regularly.  I've seen the toll salt has taken on Craig Shephard's bus.  His steel wheels are pretty rusty from his winter time trips.

I'll have to see if I can save the $1,200 to $1,500 to go next year.  (I expect fuel prices will go up.)
