We have used an ant killer called Terro. This stuff works great. It is a small bottle of sticky liquid that you put on a small piece of cardboard or in a soda bottle cap. What this does is the ant eat it and get it on them and they take it back to the nest and THEN THEY ALL DIE.
This should solve your problem. Claudiene

If you add red food coloring to Tom's mixture you have Terro........but a lot cheaper than buying it at the store. An exterminator in Hawaii told us about it and we have made our own ever since whenever we have an ant problem.

I got some white powder in Mexico years ago. When we are in ant country I put a little sprinkle of it on the hose and power cord. I dunno what's in it but it keeps the ants out. It comes in a tube like a Pringles potato chip tube and looks like the dust mother used to put on her cabbage plants.

You might want to know what it is before you use chemicals from Mexico. I think they still use DDT down there.

DDT was one of the safest insecticides ever produced. I don't think it is the active in the stuff I have but I would be happy to use it if it was. DDT: A case study in scientific fraud

Ajax works pretty good, just put it around the tires and what ever else connects. They don't like to cross at all and its camp ground friendly.

Boric acid also works on roaches, sprinkle a ring of it around the edge of a paper plate and put some food in the center. Roaches get it on them when going for the food and it kills them after they clean it off. Non toxic to people and animals.
