OK my turn to FLAME & Hijack Don's thread!
FWIW
Yes he is trying to sell the Gillig (opps I mean "Country Coach") and has said if it sells he'll keep the Eagle as it is paid for!
Of course both are for sale, but he owes on the Gillig, mmm I mean Country Coach, so if it sells we'll still have him to poke fun at and tell rust joke too/about Grin !

By the way Don, I think you were right! I'll start a thread and post the results once I know fer sure!

PS you can always count on me buddy! Just like when a certain coach sunk just off the drive way! I was quick on the recovery effort! Grin

Clifford,

What is a "twin turbo" 8V92?  I mean where is the info or specks.  I would like to read about it.

Thanks,

John

Van,
I'll vouch for ya. Even though we haven't met yet! I know your a stand up guy, after all you sent yer daughter wandering thru the "burbs" off NY looking at an address for me when I was searching for the missing former owners of our 2 newest Setra's!
Also I know Don & he vouches for both you & Clifford! As does Sonnie Gray.
As a matter of fact if I'm not mistaken Don & Sonnie were talking when I heard "Oh yeah those two are quite capable!"
Of course only when I asked "capable of what?" was I told ""you really don't want to know, those two can get into anything together!"

No thanks required Clifford or Van............ anytime guys! Grin

Andy,

I doubt that I will be able to. When are the dates again?

BTW, thanks. I think I already posted the big top items on my list. Actually, I want some new banjo strings too. I am also looking for a way to make my car more aerodynamic. I think I finally figured it out. I will take the pizza delivery sign off of the top Grin Grin Grin. Did you hear about the GREAT Earl Scruggs banjo cruise? Yuppers, it has nine seats left. Want to know how many there was to begin with? NINE Grin. Then name of the ship? Canoe Grin

I will spare you more of my banjo jokes. I do play the banjo, so maybe that is where my room temperature IQ comes from (let me know if you need an explanation Grin).

Van, is a great guy....I think....I hope...After all, I am vouching for him...Here is my E-Vouch....Done.

hey Don, we put those jakes on and they've been great for ease on the brakes going downhill.  We've been to Cherokee, NC and the jakes were great.  unfortunatley, they're a little loud and caused a landslide on I-40 a day ofter we went thru there. ;-)

just thought you'd like to know.

Dang  I thought the land slide on I40 was caused by my baby brother listing to "HUGGY" roar through as brought me home from my stay at Jackson hospital. I was lying on the couch about daybreak as we started up the gorge and looked up. He had the window down and listning to the growl of the 6v92 as we came up the gorge.

by the way had another stay in the slammer for a runaway heart beat. They had to hit the reset button and restart it to slow it down. Running good now.

Gibson, Earl Scruggs, standard edition. Bought brand new 2007 edition.

I prefer medium light strings. However, I haven't settled on one type yet. There are so many types, and if I am home, and just plunking to myself, I don't change them (even when they need to be changed). I then change them before I start playing somewhere. Net effect? It takes awhile to work through all of the many, many variates.

Oh, yes. I also have a well played goodtime special (deering) as my beater. I just won't take my Earl some places Grin.

God bless,

John

We just returned from Jerusalem ridge at Rosine KY, the 4 day festival was great including rain every nite, days were dry and warm. Turn-out about 21 thousand people, well worth the trip.>>>Dan
