DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE REGULATOR IS LOCATED IN 1980 MCI 9

If you mean voltage regulator, it is in the 3rd bay on the passenger side behind a hinged cover up against the frame rail.

thats passenger side
3rd bay
stoop down
look up and back to the left

    Just a tip for your future post.  Typing in all CAPS on the bulletin boards is considered shouting and usually not done unless you want people to think you are shouting.  Some people interpret this as rude behavior and you may not get as many appropriate answers to your questions.
    Since all communication is based on how the reader intreprets what they read, it is easy for some people to mis-interpret what they read.  Jack

My regulator is wireless,

frequently she sits in an aftermarket chair, installed for that purpose, mounted just aft of the entrance door on the curb side of the coach.

Not of the most steady operation, mind you, sometimes I run a little high, sometimes a little low...

Can't seem to be able to get the adjustment correct.

I'll keep trying.
