Rally: Cooling it in Carolina
Place: Santee State Park
Host: John an Tarra Mellis
Date: March 19th, 20th,and 21st 2010
Fees: 125.00

John and Tara have invited all of us to the shores of Lake Marion to Cypress View Campground. They have a fun-filled rally planned for us. There will be Eagle seminars, park tours and of course good food including entertainment after dinner each evening. A complete itinerary will follow.
Please check out the area at http://www.southcarolinaparks.com/park- ... mping.aspx

Due to the required advanced site reservation, we are asking for feedback about this rally so we can reserve enough sites. Please post here or call me with your thoughts . We know this is early but your thoughts will help us in estimating how many sites to reserve.
John and Tara are working hard on this rally and have fun things lined up. Lin and I have allready put it on the calendar and can't wait to meet some of our members back East.

Contact John at eight zero three-829-4242 to let him know you are going to attend.

Thank You Wayne

John,

Becky and I would also like to attend, but it has nothing to do with our work schedule! Grin

In order for us to make all of the Eagle Rallies and TBR we would have to leave now to make the loop to make it to Quartzsite next year!

We'll see what happens.

At my age I don't plan that far ahead very often.  We will be there if there is a way.

I just received the OK from Wayne, our esteemed President, ALL MAKES ARE WELCOME

For those of you that live on the east coast, it would be a great time to plan ahead to attend and have some good old fashioned fun!

John, no FMCA chapter can prevent you from attending their rally some require you belong to FMCA but most don't enforce that part as you know we have members in Eagles International that own S&S RVs and I think that is a little iffy on our part.
So if you see a Prevost rally pay your big bucks and go they can not stop you .
Converted Coach is a good group to attend rallies also they always have one when FMCA rallies are taking place.
If you like I can send you a application for the Converted Coach group( all coaches) or you can get one online
There is a lot of bus rallies You and Tami can attend all year long
I do it sometime and the guys in those 1.5 mil coaches love my Eagle well some do LOL

good luck

John,

To add to what Clifford has posted, I just wanted everyone to know that all are welcome, some may think it's for Eagles only. I did at first, but then learned differently.

I received a call today from a couple in SC that was asking, they own an MCI, he was not clear on if it was OK or not. He saw it posted here, that is why I posted it that way.

Sorry if I upset you in any way, it was not intended.  Embarrassed

Paul,

Please include Carole and I in your head count. We don't have an Eagle but do enjoy being in their presence. If possible, 50 Amp electric preferred.

Thanks,

Here's the latest... We've been having a gracious amount of rain lately so I wanted to check on the campground's condition.
All's well & in great condition. You can't really tell there's been so much rain lately & there's no standing water.
This I wanted to know for what to expect if it is the same in March. Anyhow, response is good with registration
forms coming in just about daily. If we keep this up we might have the entire place to ourselves. Shocked
For those who have already registered you will get a site # shortly by email, mail, or phone. You will need
this if you call in to get extra days on the front or back of the rally. I suggest you do so as soon as you can
because this place has lots of regulars & the site fees are excellent. Allright Eastern Eagles,
you're getting beat up pretty bad right now. Get on the phone & invite someone. Let's not be in the minority
at our own rally.. Huh
We'll be seeing ya soon!

We are looking forward to attending John & Tara's Eaglesinternational rally in March at Santee, SC and hope anyone wishing to get the year started right on the East Coast to do so also.  Everyone is welcome no matter which coast your are from, the more the merrier.

It is important to notify John & Tara so please do not procrastinate.  Make a plan to attend by calling in your reservation so definite plans John & Tara have made can accurately be planned on for food etc.

Anyone bringing their musical instruments, please also plan to entertain us as I plan to fill in with my music I play as well when wanted.  We want to keep it relaxed and make (ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE) feel welcome which has always been the case at any rally we have attended so far.  Do not even think that this bus rally is an exception for one kind of conversion etc.  The Eaglesinternational Santee Bus Rally is intended for us to all mingle, eat, drink and enjoy each other no matter how we were able to attend or in what vehicle we camped in.

In 2010 lets get these rallies going again!!

See you all there, don't procrastinate.

Gary

Wanted everyone to know we are now down to 10 campsites of the ones we reserved. If you're still thinking of joining us come on we're ok with it.  Wink  We'd like to see them all filled this year. Good friends, Good Food, Good Entertainment. If we're lucky noone will be related so we won't have to put up with any family squabbles if ya know what I mean! Grin
