Just a reminder that Thursday and Friday will be the 2010 Scenicruiser gathering in Amarillo, Texas at "THE BIG TEXAN". I hope to see & meet lots of people there. Please let us know if you are going to make it. This will be a great showcase of the older GM buses.

Are you going to eat a 72 oz steak? The food is decent there, but not exactly great. Far better than the rubber chicken dinner we skipped.

Man, Kyle, I still have a hotel room for ya if you want to fly out there. Then you can have the hotel limo come pick you up at the airport. Aaron

I had written to Pat about attending. Was going to hide in the back row of the campground.
With all the bus issues we are having, we will not be able to make it. Hope you folks take a ton of photos. Sounds like a great rally!!!!!

Great news, Pat McNeal left Baltimore lunch time today on his way to the Rally. Luvrbus, Sounds like good places to eat, but do they have room to park a bus rally? That is why we picked the Big Texan. It has a RV park with a hotel right off I-40 Aaron.

Would have to say that a Scenicruiser rally would have to rate at the top of the list for eye candy....... if you're a bus nut!!!! Maybe someday for me..

Well, I was a tourist. I was in Amarillo for a rocket launch in 2006. This was the only restaurant meal we ate in Amarillo. We were tent camping at the rocket launch and cooked our meals there. I had just started on the bus that spring and it was nowhere near ready for this trip. Besides, there were only two of us on the trip. I didn't even realize that the Big Texan had a hotel or RV park.

WOW! One more is going to join us. Just talked to Greg Bush and he says he will be driving his Cat powered Scenic to the rally.
