Rusty, TomC - my label in the front of the coach says bogie axle is 10,000, rear drive is 17,000 and front is 11,700, for a total gvwr at 38700. that's 105lbs on front tires, 90lbs on all 6 rear. i've been running 100-105 on all except the bogies which are 90.
vin70448 from 10/90 model 15 in case that helps anyone. I'm assuming
that Eagle did a good job spec on the axles, wheels, so i'm trying to stay close to that.
i also was not paying a lot of attention to side to side loading and i saw Rusty's post somewhere about 200# difference can screw up the steering a little. so i'm going to get the 12t jack w gauge and check myself.
i'm not so worried about safety as i am about premature failure somewhere. i don't want to have to replace tires due to bad alignment or torsolactics due to excessive weights. i was trying to correct that when i took it in specifically to adjust the bogies, but obviously that didn't work well so i'll try a different shop for that part of the service or try to do it myself.
