Some time back, there was a discussion about using a vehicle registered as an RV in business-related

The Colorado law states that anyone driving a vehicle registered as a non-commercial or RV who uses
it to transport cargo or passengers for profit or hire commits a class B traffic infraction, and the
registration of the vehicle can be cancelled.

So if you're using your bus for business travel and carrying any merchandise on board, you're
skating on thin ice...

I suspect this has a lot to do with the state's desire to collect commercial highway ton-mile
taxes, etc. and force higher registration fees on commercial vehicles.

As usual, it's about the money. Smiley

You can run a business out of your bus by internet.  Can carry samples that are not for sale.  Using the bus to carry merchandise to sell makes it a commercial vehicle that are subject to all commercial vehicle rules-including having to obtain a class B commercial drivers license-since it is not a motorhome anymore, but a commercial vehicle with a very large sleeper.  So those of you that are going from bus get together to get togethers pedelling your wares, be aware of these rules, or you'll have a rude awakening sometime!  Good Luck, TomC

It's not a problem until people make it a problem by waking up the sleeping giant...

Just don't put any signs or logo's on your motorhome or trailer and be obvious about it.

Never take a knife to a gunfight!
