What about the posts and time for the poster to be able to edit it?
Now to address you question directly. In the poll that Jack posted
, forum members were pretty evenly divided on either 24 hour limit for editing or no limit. The moderating team discussed it extensively, weighing recent events on the forum and the outcry over the loss of the posts. The conclusion was: members will be able to edit their posts, even up to removing all the content in their post, for up to 24 hours. After that, if you want to change something, just contact any one of the moderating team and we will be happy to assist. Software limits the choice on deleting to either yes or no. So the decision was no. There again, if something needs deleting, any moderating team member can assist you with it.
If the need to eidt a post (older than the 24 hour limit) or completely delete it is urguent, then simply click the "Report to Moderator" link in the upper right corner of posts and fill in the appropriate information in the box.
