Bigger, better, stronger and more of ya when you get back. Get some of that software that reads and writes for you so you don't have to live without my wisdom for six months. Oh, and what will you do without your daily dose of BK? No operation will help with that! Get well soon.

Best of luck John.  Had cateracts removed six years ago and lens implants installed.  Went from trifocals to no glasses in a couple of weeks.  IMHO they can do amazing things now days.

Enjoying the journey in NC,

That is a nice offer, Richard. That's what I love about this board and it's people: People helping people.
It looks as tho I will be a candidate for that surgery in the future as I have Uveitis and have to use steroids to keep from going blind, but they say the steriods will cause cataracts. And I for one always like to check things out before jumping in head first. And someone with good knowledge is always someone good to know. We need to keep the members of our fold healthy so we can poke fun at them!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin  lol
Thanx again for the nice offer and hopefully people who are facing this, especially John, can benefit from your knowledge.

John says "Thank you all."  He is touched by your kind thoughts.  Part of his problem is that he only has one good eye.  I'll let you know after he has had the surgery.

Hi, Carolee.

Will you tell John that Doreen and I wish the both of you the best of luck with his surgery? We don't get into Eugene much anymore, but we will sometime and will try to make time to stop.

Take care.
