2011 QUARTZSITE COMBINED RALLY

(Sponsored by Eagles International)

January 21, 22, 23, 2011

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Wednesday & Thursday (1/19 & 1/20): Early Check-In

Friday (1/21):

7:30-9:00am: Coffee & Doughnuts

4:00pm:        Ice Breaker-hors d'oeuvres, potluck
                   (Bring your own service & beverage)

Saturday (1/22):

7:30-9:00am: Coffee & Doughnuts

5:00pm:        Catered Dinner
                   BBQ Tri-tips & BBQ Chicken
                   Potato Salad, Baked Beans
                   Garlic Bread, Cookies
                   (Bring your own service & beverage)

6:30pm:        Live Entertainment

Sunday (1/23):

7:30-9:00am: Coffee & Doughnuts

RALLY FEE: $15.00

PARKING FEE AT SITE: $5.00 per day payable at checkout

CATERED DINNER: $12.50 per person

QUARTZSITE RALLY T-SHIRTS: $12.00 EACH

They let me in last year with my Neoplan.  I'm sure you will have a good time also.  I had never been to Quartzite during snow bird season so I did a good deal of gawking.

No Quartzsite is in AZ 20 miles east from the CA line on I 10

I am driving from Palm Springs to Quartzsite tomorrow for the rally. 

I want to show off my roofdeck project and my genset-between-the-steer-tires project Smiley

Is it worth the extra two hours to take the scenic route past the Salton Sea down to I8, then up through the desert on 95?

Or, better to just take I10?

I appreciate your thoughts.
