Insist that the engine be bone cold when YOU start it for the first time.  Cold Cold.  If it isn't cold when you get there then walk away.

I lost my bus virginity today!  Grin

I read everything including the MCI-9 manual cover to cover and everything went great. Wow, what a drive! Such a blast. Despite the strong engine and transmission, the bus was junk but I'll never forget my first time  Smiley

I mentioned some stuff on the other thread but water damage from leaky roof in two places, bad rust, poor condition externally and essentially stripped and junked interior.

WOW,  I haven't seen a MCI with a leaky roof. Except maybe around roof hatch.
