2011 HALLOWEEN RALLY SCHEDULE
General Notes: This event is set for Twin Oaks Music Park in Hoboken (near Waycross) GA.
Rally fee is $100 for three nights camping, three breakfasts, two dinners and two nights of entertainment. Captain Joe’s in nearby Waycross. The group caravan leaves for dinner at 6:00 p.m.Friday, October 28st
7:00 a.m. Early Bird Coffee
8 - 9 a.m. Continental breakfast (sweet rolls, bagels, donuts, muffins, juice, coffee)
6:00 p.m. Pot Luck dinner – hopefully, lots of home cookin’! Please bring a dish to pass, and your own utensils, plates or trays. Iced tea and glasses provided. Or BYOB.
7:00 p.m. 50-50 Drawing – see Marty Nixon and John Silver for tickets
7:15 p.m. Special Game Show: “Name That Tune” – fun for all. Four teams of 6-8 try to guess the name of a song based on the first few bars. Musical categories: Classic country, Modern country, Early Rock, and Show tunes. Great prizes for the winning team. Join a team or just watch and listen, and see how many you can name on your own. See Mike Heron to head up one of the four teams.
Saturday, October 29th
7:00 a.m. Early Bird Coffee
8 – 9:00 a.m. Pancake and sausage breakfast –Howard Best, with past and present officers assisting. These are Howard’s famous Krusteaz flapjacks – not to be missed. Coffee, tea and OJ.
9:30 a.m. President’s Advisory Committee Meeting
10:00 a.m. Annual General Membership Meeting – interim report of the Nominating Committee
Bus Flea Market all day! Simply mark and leave items in front of coach.
2 – 3:30 p.m. Various activities and socializing – pick one or two, or just wander from one to the next:
A. Ladies’ get-together in the building – bring cards or games to play if you like, and if you have recipes, crafts, needlework, holiday ideas, etc. that you’d like to share, please bring them!
B. Howard Best will once again facilitate a Kick the Tires/Tech Talk session at his bus
C. For the musicians and singers among us, we’ll have a spot for pickin’ and grinnin’ at one of the “covered wagons” – so bring your instruments and voices or just your grin!
4:30 p.m. Kids will Trick or Treat, so come prepared!
6:00 p.m. Park owner Ira Crews will serve his famous BBQed chicken and ham butt. Your rally hosts will provide the sides (coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, etc.) Coffee and sweet/unsweet tea, or BYOB. Please bring your own table service (plates, utensils, cups, napkins).

7:45 - 10 p.m. Comedian/magician Mark Alan will entertain. He is well known in the Jacksonville area, and does a good, clean, audience participation act. Comes highly recommended. For a glimpse of Mark’s approach to audience involvement, click on the following link:
