Scrap value would be a good place to start.

Nice looking unit from the single pic. Nice to that seen the interior, info on engine, trans, etc.

I am not a 45'er kinda guy, but an Eagle, that model in that color blue does it for me, but not this time.

As stated, scrap value would be a safe bid without additional info. Being within 300-500 miles would help.

I emailed them and asked for more info. If they reply I will post.

It may be a good deal for some one... I dunno about a bus that sleeps 16 tho.

An entertainer that has been repo'd, especially a sixteen bunk crew bus, may well be pretty ragged out by now.  If they couldn't afford the payments, they probably couldn't afford the maintenance.

Not necessarily a bad deal at the right price, but I would be very careful on this one.

I see the ad has been deleted. Did the bus sell?

I was thinking about taking a ride over there and checking it out.

I'm the one with the bus for sale.  I reposted it on craigslist http://athensga.craigslist.org/rvs/2428761636.html to move it closer to the top again.

I found out about this forum from a nice gentleman in Texas that told me this is where he saw the link to my ad.  Thanks for posting it here. I appreciate the increased exposure.

Demodriver, I have an email from someone requesting more information.  I don't know if it is you.  They gave me a link to an Eagle bus forum and that is still awaiting approval.  I do know that it has a Detroit engine and it is a diesel and it is an automatic.  I also know that a company in Florida did the conversion...Southern Classic Custom Conversions out of Clermont, FL.

The man that owned the bus is supposed to meet with me one day next week to retrieve his personal items that he left inside.  I am going to ask him why it has a salvaged title.  I do have more pictures, including pictures of the interior, that I can share.  I don't know if posting pictures is allowed.  I will have to read the rules. The title says "*Salvaged-Repaired".  The VIN is 1EUBM8A19RB004039.

I hope that someone here can give me some info about this bus or at least tell me where on the bus to look in order to find it.

Thanks

I'll look it up tonight to be sure but 4039 should be a 40ft 1983 model 10 ok so it has been stretched

So are you saying that this bus is actually a 1983 model that was stretched and converted in 1994?  Could that be the reason for the salvaged title?

Kenneth I am the one who emailed you and sent a link to the eagles site. You might check your spam folder for a email from them.

Good luck with the sell.  Eric

Thanks, Eric.  I haven't forgotton about you.  In fact your email is flagged in my inbox.  I applied to join the forum but I've only received one email from them that says:

"Your account is currently inactive, the administrator of the board will need to activate it before you can log in. You will receive another e-mail when this has occurred."

Hopefully it won't be much longer.

If anyone here is able to give me a ballpark figure as to what I can expect to get out of it I would be much obliged.  I can send pictures via email.  If any of you have the expertise and willingness to help me out with a figure you can email me at kennethboswell at pinnaclebank dot com

Thanks!

Ken, I don't know what you have there only 13 Eagles were built in 1994 the last serial number I have for the 94 model is RB001037 and you have 004039 the last Eagle built was 001074 a 1998 model check the serial number inside the AC compartment on the passengers side at the rear if it is a model 15 that is where you will find it,are sure you that is the bus you had the loan on.
Dale the guy for the Eagles board was in that area last week he sent me some photos of that bus

good luck

Really?  Where did he get the photos?  That VIN came off the title that we have in file.  I just went out to look for the SN.  I opened the AC compartment and didn't see a SN.  The AC grill (correct word?) is bolted shut.  Is it behind that?  Now I'm concerned as to what we really have.  The former owner is supposed to meet with me next week to retrieve some items that were left in the bus.  I will ask him about that.

Is there anything else I should ask him?

Thanks!

Kenneth, I get all of the Eagles International activations since I am a moderator there. It looks like you received a notification on 6/8.  At the bottom of the notification is a link you need to activate the account.

Let me know if you did not get the notice.  I can forward it to you.

CarFax links the VIN back to a 94 Eagle. From the angle of the picture the wheels look to be about in the right place and not inset like it had been widened. Hard to say though. But I'd trust the CarFax VIN search until we get better info on it.

VIN    1EUBM8A19RB004039
