It won't surprise you to know there is no such organisation as 'BRITISH LOTTERY INTERNATIONAL' As of the last few years we do unfortunately now have a national lottery draw every week, but there is a lot of controversy about it and it's sales are apparently declining steadily, despite several 'relaunches'. Personally I think it is a tax on stupidity.

Craig,
You have to admit they are resourceful!

By the way,

How come you if you've been this rich since September how come you aren't down here at Timmonsville with your new Marathon and letting the servants stay in the Dutch Star?

Oh, well, you know you could just fly down in the Gulfstream V for the day.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.  I just noticed, "he" signed it Ms. Larry Martins.

An "Internet ballot system"??  Hmmm, so somebody voted on this? Sounds like a popularity contest... and I won!  Shocked

In all reality, would you contact someone named Bruno about receiving money?

So, Jeremy, is "Bruno" in the U.K. analogous to "Guido" here in the states?

Oh shoot. I just noticed they "advice" that I keep my winning information confidential. Now I've gone and posted it here for the whole world to see. Ok, people. I trust none of you will try to claim my winnings before I do!

Boy Gumpy, I sure hope this pans out! I've been on the phone overseas forever try'n to get your claim started for you! But what keeps worring me while they ot us on hold they keep saying this is a ballot prize system and you will be added to another drawing, if you agree to this please press #3, then more BS, music, propaganda, and again this is a ballot prize and you will be placed in another drawing if you agree to this please press # 3, yadayadayada ! Boy I sure hope this ain't one of those international phone charge scams, whwere everytime you push the agreement button they charge another like $8,000.00 to your phone bill! Cause if they do WE owe a lot of $ ! Wow, I just realized Gumpy I could have just cost us close to $100,000.00 on that 1 call!

Worst of all the guy up the road who's phone line I tapped into with my linemans phone is really gonna be pissed when he gets his bill! LOL!

LOL! Ha gotcha back!  BK  Grin remember to keep smiling 'cause it makes people wonder what yer up too!

To be honest, I'm not sure what the name 'Guido' implies...if it's any help, the only person I know called Bruno here is a dog.

Isn't it really cool that you can win a lottery and not even purchase a ticket!!

Unfortunately thousands of these are sent out daily and believe it or not people fall for them all the time.  Federal law makes it illegal for a U.S. citizen to play a foreign lottery.

I have worked white collar crime for over twenty years and it never ceases to amaze me what people will fall for.  I have always said “you cannot legislate people from their own stupidly and greed”.

You better be careful Craig.  If Uncle Sam gets ahold of this he'll want his cut.

Been awhile since we were in southern IL, and it looks like it's going to be awhile still. But if you get up Minneapolis way, give a shout.
