I own 4104 4519, I know about the 2 previous owners , can you tell me the original history of 4519, Thanks, NelNel -
PD4104-4519 was delivered new as fleet number P-7541 to Western Greyhound Lines, HQ'd in San Francisco, CA. It was part of a 75-bus order that was delivered in February and March of 1960. Based on it's sequence in the order (4478-4553), I'm going to guess that it actually was delivered in the early part of March, as it was #41 out of 75.
So you can legitimately tell folk that you own a "Jen-u-wine retired Greyhound bus."
FYI, if you haven't seen it in some of my other postings, WGL had one of the BEST maintenance shops in the Greyhound organization during the timeframe your coach was part of their fleet (1960-1970), so for at least the first ten years of it's life it was well taken care of.
