A friend of mine was having trouble with his 8v92 running hot after he changed the T-stats to 180 to make a long story short the seals came out with old T stats and he said he could not see any purpose of the seals so he didn't replace the seals.

All is well now we installed new seals he has no heating problems now, just a tip always replace the seals when replacing the T stats they are there for a reason

good luck
