I am thinking about putting a satellite dish on my roof. I have one that I use as a mobile unit.. I thought it would be nice when we stop for only one night. Pro and cons of the roof set up? Thanks. Looking at this unit [Digital Satellite System wRS 1000 model RD4610]

Hi Eagle10,

Are you referring to the "dome" type automatic tracking units, or a Fixed dish that you have to manually move?
