Your Mill engine needs to make certain water cooler under blower or air to air after cooler. My fire truck engine did not cnange the rear gear drive case The compressor bolted on same spot. Power steering pump bolts to old truck alt. drive on rear of blower, plenty of room in a MC-8.
Mine is a 8-71TA , no need to raise floor or make room for PS pump!
If you keep the monster 24V alt. then you need to change the rear gear housing.
I went with a seperate trans cooler and installed thermostat fan, cheeper than trans cooler on the engine.

My air cleaner sits on the right side and goes straight into the turbo, it has a 7inch intake, need to open a bit.

When I stripped my bus bathroom I left the mount brackets and that holds my big air cleaner, also the right side door had a 12 inch round hole with 3/4 wire screen.
