Driving a charter bus isn't exactly a big buck desirable job these days.  The drivers some of the scheduled service companies are getting are scraping the bottom of the barrel.  I heard from someone who took a Megabus ride to Chicago and the driver was falling asleep.  Apparently some of the passengers were helping keep the driver awake.  (In that situation calling the state patrol to stop the bus might have been a safer option.)

I'm sure not all of the charter companies are that bad on hiring.
