In my other posts several have asked for my SN. It is PD4104 2548. However, I have been going through the files that came with the bus and I discovered a list of owners all the way back to Eastern Greyhound Lines, delivered in May 1957! Its fleet number was E-3040 but also lists E-3074 but no date when it was retired. The engine was overhauled in 1985 and can't have too many miles on it since then.  One owner was Rawlings High School in Colorado who owned it for thirteen years and used it in the athletic department and school field trips.  It lived in Alaska for seven years, was converted about the time the engine was rebuilt in 85.

The maintenance records and receipts are fantastic. All the electrical has been well documented with schematics, all manuals, even the holding tank literature and plumbing schematics are there!  Boy howdy, will that be helpful. I have receipts for a jake brake install, power steering, solar panels, inverters, chargers, dang near everything, even the kitchen sink! Now if I can just get the dang entry door to fit right and close tight. Anyone?  Anyone?  Bueller?

Looks like you did well, and now look into power steering, but only the Sheppard type. You would love it; just like steering a car. Better to do sooner than later as parts to do the conversion will be harder to obtain the longer you wait.

Yes, it is Sheppard. I have the manual and receipt for the install.  I'm jazzed. Also has upgraded airbag and leveling system. Drives like a Cadillac.

 PD4104 2548
To Eastern Greyhound Lines fleet number E-3066
The fleet numbers E-3040 - E-3074
Serial numbers 2522-2556

S/N 2556     E-3074
S/N-2548     E-3066
        -08 from last serial number = 2548  E-3066
Better stop before I get confused myself. RRtex
