Bill,
I believe April 1st is the day the park opens back from the winter shutdown.

I'm still hoping that we'll make it. My conversion pace has been agonizingly slow lately in spite of intense concentration and effort. I'm still trying to get a door on the bus, of all things. Here's a link to my project: http://nomadicista.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2541

It's still possible that we'll be there. We want to, and I'm working like a maniac to make it happen. I confess that we're not quite "self-contained" just yet.

Any thoughts so far as to pot luck meals or are we all on our own?

We will not be able to attend. I was concerned about not having the bus in shape to travel, but the trump card fell when my mother scheduled surgery for the 11th. They'll send her home the same day, and my wife and I are the only ones available to provide her care.

We were looking forward to meeting you folks, and the venue sounds lovely. We'll have to wait until next time, though. I think we'll try to visit the Cove on our own in April or May.

Best of luck with the event.

I would think that pot luck is always an option.

Always good to see you Ned. It was a very good time we had with the buses that were there and with the Airstreamers. We always enjoy Palmetto Cove and the laid back time we have. I did not count but think we had 7 or 8 buses and 3 or 4 busnuts in motorhomes. Got to visit with some friends we have not seen in a while. Kyle only got to come by for a while on Saturday because of not feeling well.

Sorry to have missed you Ned, maybe you should have gotten there sooner.  Grin

I am super busy with work at the moment, so I haven't had time to hang out on the boards.

On the bright side, the Dr. said that I looked great today  Grin    So, YEA!!! (unless she needs glasses !  Shocked )

I was there Saturday for a while & it was a very relaxing afternoon visiting friends. Dinner was great, too bad we couldn't have spent more time . . . .
