Here is our Big Gray Whale... It is a 1991 Bluebird on an Internation Chassis. It only has 90,000 miles on it. We are a band that tours 8 states with out bus. She is a big pile of poopies, but she is ours and it is always a good time on her..

This is a 1965 Scania Vabis with front mounted 134 hp D8 engine and 5speed manual gearbox, air brakes and full aluminum body.
Since it's more than 30 years old there's no tax on it in Sweden and the insurance for it is around $40 it will make a dream home for our family once we're done...... (if ever Smiley

anyways can't think of much more to say atm, new member to the forum and first post so, HI ! Pleased to meet yall !

Kind regards Daniel and Anna

That looks like a bus with a lot of character. Out of interest, what would the tax cost in Sweden on a younger bus? Vehicles built before 1973 are tax free here in the UK, but on anything built between 1973 and 2001 the cost is reasonable (around £200 per year ($350 or so)). For vehicles built after 2001 the cost is based upon emissions and can get very expensive indeed.

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

i started my coach "Landyacht" in september 2006. It has been quite an experience, I hope to have it usuable in the spring of 2010. Maybe not completely finished, but usable, so I can get rid of the Winnebago and use that money for painting, etc. Pictures are when we got it, roof raise, gutted and now the countertop.
