Thank You Paul for the GOOD words. We were told the Bay windows is where the driver used to sleep when the owner was inside all comfortable. NOT Positive but sounds almost believable. It is carpeted throughout the bays and interior lighting is intact and the walls are also carpeted. "Who Knows". Could have been an apartment for dwarfs or really short rockstars.  Shocked or maybe a rolling morgue since their is a rolling pull out tray in there too.. For whatever purpose they used them for, they sure have people stopping to ask what they are for. Kinda of makes this even more of a "One of a Kind"

Hey Nick & Tonyea. I didn't get a chance to stop by at the rally. but your coach really looks great, how come you dont want to tell the folks, that the windows in the bay doors, are really the appartment for your butler and housekeeper, I know they are really, really short. but you treat them well. I see at least they have windows for their downstaitrs living room .. LOL. good luck, it really is a beautiful coach.. Steve & Cindi ~Z~.

What exactly is the purpose of the opening roof section? Looks really well fabricated

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

We had the old A/C unit removed as it was over a ton of weight between the pump and roof unit so as there was a gaping hole this is what I decided as I wasnt going the full roof lift package as most do.
Im only 5,9" and our roof is already at 5,11" so I saved a fortune by being short for once Smiley

Idea is to get a great view of the stars when kicking back in bed, plus being able to open this bigger area meant I can cool the bus down easier and run the new split A/C less.
Plus I had some spare rams kicking around and thought Id better use them.
Ive got a personal joke running with a mate,I told him it was an airbrake as our Merc is so much faster!

Still lots to do but we've already taken two 500mile+ trips in it and it's live-able  Grin

Started a blog for more detailed pix of the process too.  https://82mci.wordpress.com/
