I am moving on to a new motorhome and am offering my 57 4104 for sale. I'm going to post it in the BCM classifieds but while I await admin approval I'll tell you guys a bit about it if you know anyone who is looking. It was converted about 1990 but many upgrades since then. 1965 6V71 engine with about 40k miles since overhaul in 1990. A new blower was installed last year. The bus has Shepard power steering, new air bags, four corner leveling system, two solar panels, New awning fabric, new SeaLand toilet, Newer water heater, two roof A/C's, Alcoa wheels, good rubber, two new converters, each run half of the coach, a/c and 12v lighting, jake brake, air throttle, propane 6.6 KW Onan generator, 70 gallon aluminum fuel tank, new fuel lines, two Fantastic roof vents, 100 gal. gray water, 100 gal. black water, 100 gal. fresh water tanks, new furnace motor and dozens of minor repairs and improvements since I've owned it. Full ownership history, lots of documentation and lots of other stuff not listed. Runs and drives like a Cadillac, well, except for the four speed non-syncro gearbox but other than that it runs great. Been to Florida and back to Vancouver, Washington twice in the last four years with no problems. Asking $14,500 but will consider offers and trades.

Lance,

I hope it sells well for you. You didn't last long with it though Grin. Really I don't blame you at all. To own and work on a vehicle that old, takes serious dedication.

It would totally be an added bonus if you could end up making 5K. I would almost consider flipping buses for that price Grin

Enjoy.

Yes, I haven't had it all that long but I'm not giving it up because it is too much to work on. I've found a GMC motorhome that is just too good to pass up.  I've owned several in the past, made money on one, broke even on the second. I seem to find good deals, move in, fix up and find another good deal.  I build custom cars for a living so this is my custom car alternative. The bus is now listed on BCM classifieds with photos.

I can't find your bus on the classifieds? I am currently looking for a bus.
