The bus was a 1974 Crown Supercoach 40 foot, 3 axle, ten wheeler ex schoolie. Had practically new school bus yellow paint with a white roof. It looked like a big banana so that is what we called HER....."The Banana Boat". Sadly sold years ago. HB of CJ (old coot)

My girlfriend ruefully calls my bus The Mistress, because I spend more time with her than with her. This name is beginning to stick . . . After an evening fossicking and fettling, I come back home covered in grime and sweat and she looks at me and says she knows who the true love of my life is.

Our newest bus came with the name across the front cap "Coulee Country" because the builder was from the Grand Coulee (as in Dam) area. Our bus would probably have the same name as our boat. "Recovery Room". Wife being a RNC and both of us needing a place to recover from the week's toil. Don Carpenter WSU college bus 4107 Now 5B. Never intended to be a three bus family, buy one and name it whatever you want.

That's funny! My wife says the same thing, she calls it my other girlfriend. She tells her family that I spend more time rubbing it than her. They just laugh, they like it at much as I do.

We call ours "Dreamscape". Ever since I was a little boy, It has been a Dream of mine to eScape onto the roads of the US and see this great country we live in. My wife says it should have named "The Gambler". It's where all of our money goes!

Being from the Indianapolis area, (Mooresville) my bus was marked " 500 " by the previous line where it
came from. If you are able to look at my profile picture above the door "500" is still there. So it's called
OLE 500!

A european neighbor watched us build her in our back yard. She thought we were nuts and referred to us as 'daffy canucks'.
The name stuck....'DAFFYC'

My wife has named our cars too. So far they have all been names with B. Buddy, Belle, Beamer, and Big Ole Green Truck. My kids named the truck. So it was natural that our 4104 would be Buster.

We don't really refer to the bus by a nickname other than, "The Bus", but I did name it, "Some Assembly Required", for obvious reasons which are still apropos.

My wife is a Gone With the Wind movie fan and named our bus Miss Scarlett. She says that Miss Scarlett never allowed anything to keep her from getting where she was going. We can only hope our bus will be as tough as her namesake.
