OK - I'm impressed. Its a minimum 1/2 hour ordeal on my LeMirage and that's if I use power tools.

If I was lucky I could remove one bolt on my Donaldson air filter assembly that quickly. My number one problem with changing the air filter is getting it centered while putting the cover on.

I would be a lot more concerned about sealing everything correctly than I would about speed, a "dusted" engine would be a high price to pay for speed.>>>Dan

It did take a bit of cleaning and setting everything up for the video. Staying here at Scotts place in Southwest MI and we've been beating each other up about his MCI and my Eagle. So just to give him a hard time about how easy it is to work on an Eagle, I had to make the video to rub it in. Next video will be the tire change.... -Sean www.herdofturtles.org 1984 Eagle Model 10S

That's nice to change the filter element that fast, but didn't check to see if the filter case was dirty at all. Should clean inside just in case.
I have a horizontal Donaldson with conical filter. I made a small block of wood to hold the filter element in place to be able to screw back on the cover and 4 nuts. Good luck, TomC

Tom, he checked everything thoroughly prior to making the video. It was propped just to make me jealous....considering my MCI is drama to change the filter. During the past month of their stay here in Michigan, we've razzed each other constantly on the MCI vs EAGLE competition. This was just a brotherly dig at us MCI guys :-)

Yeah, changing that starter sucks! It's even worse on my bus because the mega trailer hitch prevents anyone getting to the access hole in the bulkhead. 100% of the job need to be done from above, inside the coach, then it can lifted up and out over the tranny.
