A curmudgeon's reputation for malevolence is undeserved. They're neither warped nor evil at heart. They don't hate mankind, just mankind's absurdities. They're just as sensitive and soft-hearted as the next guy, but they hide their vulnerability beneath a crust of misanthropy.

Happy Birthday! They do keep coming, don't they? As long as they do, that's good.
Many of us were born in the 1st half of the last century.

Uncle Ned, You have to be one of the nicest southerners I know, except for Dolly of coarse, we wish you a very Happy Birthday and wish you could join us for "Kyle's Non'bus Gathering" on the 11th, 12th, 13th of October at Palmetto Cove but know you want to go be with the big boys in TN. Just have a great safe trip buddy, see you later and again have a great, great day, give Dolly a hug especially for me. Gary

Hey Ned,
Who would have known! You certainly don't look old.
How many candles should we use? We're baking you a cake at the Great American Bus Rally.
What day are you arriving?

Thanks to all
Had a great 71ft. birthday Completed my end to end trip of the blue ridge parkway with a trip to cherokee and then to bryson city to ride the great smokey mountain railroad.
No mosquitos left in bryson city or cherokee. do sou think the Harrahs will send me some money for that. they should. every one that goes there comes out with a bunch of money. so they claim.
Does every one know what the soco gap road grad is.
and the people out west talk about their hills. ours our just as steep but not quite as long.
again thanks to a great bunch
