good job!  Just started 2nd part and saw your sand crawler picture--sure looked like the milling machines I ran on road surfaces..  They can do some serious damage!! Load a tri-axle in a few minutes.  When is the return trip? Still crap in SW Ind. 1 Inch of ice on drive for last week..

Good read Gordie glad you 2 are home when owning a old bus one will give out sometimes but he never gives up on the journey 

I feel bad I told you to push on to Albuquerque and cost you the extra wrecker fee that cost you,one thing good is you will have a life long friend with Jones he never forgets people

No big deal. It was worth the help I got from Larry.  Sorry now that we didn't come back via I-40 and hook up with you guys.  It's zero again this morning.

Really enjoy your style of writing and your blog, Gordie.  Your maiden voyage sounds like the maiden voyage of my Silverside, smoke fire, ice and all.  Oh, you gotta love old GM's!  Down the road, your trip story will be spun around the campfire many times, lol.
