I am installing aluminum wheels on an MC8. I have determined that the wheel studs wil have to be  changed. Any tips or tricks will be greatly apreciated Thank you

Take a look at the mechanical section on my web site (bus.gumpydog.com). Find the site map and the mechanical section. Under that, you'll find steer, drive and tag axle maintenance. One or more of these have some info on how I changed mine, including some things I did incorrectly. It's ok if you learn from my mistakes.

Use a length of pipe to press the studs into the hub. Don't pound on the end of the stud, or draw them in with the backing nuts (I did both, one worked, one didn't, but neither were correct). The pipe worked best.

Getting the old ones out is easy if the hub is off the bus. Good time to check the bearings, change the seals and wipers and do any brake or suspension maintenance.
