clif bar is based in Berkley CA.

No tears...at least not yet........Bright side is that it will be getting used and there will be a no cost option on maint and parts.....

If I had a roof over it's head and it wasn't out in the weather not getting used, save for it's monthly exercise......I would not have sold it.  Hell It still havs a couple million miles left in it.  presently has about 3 million on the chassis

Doug,

I hate that the '04 is going to someone else, but I am also heartened to see that she is going to do what she likes to do best..... Run with the Big Dogs.

They are planning on using it for 4 years or so, so I will have the option to get it back.

I still have the MC-8 and two 4108's ( my dad's) to play with. but you really don't drive those.

Doug -

IIRC, the MC-8 is an automatic, right?

You're right about not "driving" an automatic MCI - it's really just guiding a huge mini-van down the highway.

Your '04 was a cool coach - remember sharing war stories at In-n-Out in Fresno a few years ago?

Since it's going to Berkeley, maybe I'll get a chance to see it again.

Good idea, the repurchase option!!

Wow! Thirty years! Unfortunately I get attached to things and it makes it challenging to get rid of them sometimes. Thanks to my wife I have gotten a lot better. After thirty years in the family, that would have been a hard one for me. Cry
