Hi BK,
I don't know how anyone else feels about your use of those moving smiley faces in your posts but for my tired eyes they are very distracting.
Thanks, Sam 4106

Sam I do appreciate you pointing it out to me! As I really just thought they were a cute addition to my normal smart *ss answers I give. And really hadn't thought about the effects of them too others! You made a very good point and I have done what I could to eliminate them from scrolling in any future posts! Thanks.

BK,
You weren't pissing me off. You asked if it was better & I gave MY opinion.
I do understand! BUT IT WAS THEY WAY YOU GAVE YOUR OPINION! After I had already agreed to compromise!
I probably took it wrong but then again I've been under a lot of stress lately, and to top it all off I hadn't been anywhere at all this month until last night! Which was really messing up my attitude as I was having serious road withdraws! If you ever get one of yer Scenics on the road you'll truly understand what I mean! There is more than just owning them that gets in yer blood! And once you get out and drive one you'll see what I (and others mean!). Now I do apologize for taking your remark wrong, and plead temporary insanity (or would that be temporary sanity, since it's already a pr oven fact that I'm not at all sane?). And farther more ...... Ahhh never mind I'll touch on it in a minute!

The scrolling text anoyance issue comes up from time to time - some may like it, but it makes my eyes ache.

Again I am sorry I never thought of that! And THAT"S ALL YA HAD TO SAY! not the other way ya did!

It's sad when someone lets something so little have that big an impact. . . .

But to pack up your toys & go home? ?

Like they say in the old country - " **** 'em if they can't take a joke. "

Do what you gotta do.

AS I Said before I was having a bad day, and you rubbed me wrong at the wrong time!
But no I wasn't packing my toys and going home, I LEFT MY TOYS THERE AND MERELY WENT HOME! I was trying to take a much needed break and not say something we'd all end up regretting later! I enjoy, & learn from this board as much as anyone! I sure didn't wanna get in a pissing match with you or anyone else and end up banned from it! (but you probably wouldn't understand that!) Judging from your next remark!

This was as uncalled for as anything! And not only that but it wasn't posted as a joke, nor was it tak'n as a joke! I don't know what old country yer refer'n too, but maybe you should go there and pop of that remark to someone there and see if ya don't need help pick'n yerself up from the cobblestone! I been all over this great country and done lots of different things, some of them I am greatly proud of and would do again. Some of them I am not so proud of and would not do again and hope never to back to! But I've learned many valuable lessons in life, I didn't go to college and get any fancy degrees. But I did graduate from the UNIVERISTY OF HARD KNOCKS!  And I don't use that attitude toward nobody and I sure don't take from nobody either!  So let's  let it be the last time it's expressed between us!

I did I took some time off and took a short trip to St. Louis to get my head straight! It's amazing how much taking a group of gents on a bachelor party trip and getting paid 9 Ben Franklin's (almost LIVE, but most definitely in person at least on paper and in spirit! No checks, no invoice, no record! What $, what trip?Where? who? what? I Dunno what yer talk'n about!) can change an attitude for the better! Should I mention that WE ALL HAD A BLAST! Oopps who's we? So now that I've taken my little break, and come back and expressed my OPINION, lets let bygones be bygones and move on and enjoy buss'n which is what this board is about in the first place! NOT YOUR OR MY OPINIONS! Happy motor'n! By the way fer yer own good, I ain't gonna quit given ya a hard time about owning all those cool buses and not being able to use at least one of them until you send verifiable pics (pics can be doctored) of you behind the wheel of one of 'm rolling down the road under it's own power! It's for your own good! You just don't understand the whole buss'n thong until you've experienced it for yourself! FWIW TMHO TIOLI!

Skip it looks like a nice bus, but I already got too many projects now without buying another!
Besides his $4,000.00 start price sent my Ben's running back into my pocket! LOL!

BK,
I didn't mean to thump matches on your spilled gasoline   Embarrassed

So you had a bad day, week, month. We have all BTDT & will do what we can to support each other.

I'll not apologize for the intent of my post.

After all the bantering between us, it really bothers me that you would read so much negativity & belligerance into my reply when none was intended. I thought the sarcasm came across differently.
AND after the hassle you've given me, I should have the right to hassle you back! Ain't that what friends do?

I enjoy the motivation I have received about getting one of mine on the road & it really helps. But I will NOT rush into this & miss the journey. I'm meeting the best people I've ever met in my life. (Also, when you're trying to find parts for a scenicruiser, you better have DEEP pockets or patience. So since my pockets are shallow, I'm working on patience.)

Also you can't rush 'ART'. So that's my story & I'm sticking with it!  Grin

As I said I've been totally stressed out! Between not being able to "go" anywhere, trying to keep things going smoothly with the bus company, trying to deal with a major contract to keep the tow trucks busier(which they are self supporting & paid for! And normally I don't have much to do with them, but new contracts require my signature. Which means way too much small print for my simple mind and much research BEFORE I SIGN ANYTHING! Not to mention I been trying to put this off and Jack & Matt finally were able to corner me with it since they were able to "catch me"), and the most stressful of all is trying to decide whether or not to jump off into a MILLION $ Debt by buying out my friend and competitors company; buses (2 awesome '06 Setra S417's, and a sweet low mileage '95 S215), contracts, drivers (only one said we won't come with the buy out as he's been trying to "retire" for several years and "Don won't let him!"), & HEADACHES! For just $15,000.00 per month (whether the buses move or not !) We can have it all lock, stock & barrel! Which means way too much small print for my simple mind and much research BEFORE I SIGN ANYTHING! Oh have I mentioned that the way Dad an I have done our business so far is to pay cash for everything and be debt free! With the exception of our monthly insurance bill, of course! So yes being stuck here at home/office with too much time to worry about these things, I'd just had too much!
AND Yes, I agree you or anyone on this board should be able to hassle me, as much as I do others!
I was just not myself at the time! But I'm better now! The wrecker deal is done, and I had a "fix"!

Hey I understand not wanting to rush it and mess it up! But hey getting one useable doesn't mean it's gotta be DONE! Ahh remember how stressed out "Belfert" got last year when he wasn't done enough for his trip? Well he got over it, and has been using it and enjoying it! And it "still ain't done!"
Ahh also look at Buddydawg he's bringing his to the rally this weekend literally as a tin tent!

Ahhh now I and any and everyone on this board know that parts for any bus are expensive (Setra sends mine in Mercedes Benz boxes so I'll at least feel better about what I pay for them! LOL!)! But we thought that's what you keep bringing all those extra parts buses home for! LOL! Get one rolling! Even if it's just a way cool "tin tent" get it where you can feel the experience and it will motivate you to continue to work on it as $ allows!

I DO AGREE! But haven't ya heard of art in motion? LOL!

By the way is this better?

BK,
COOL

I figgured we were pals  Grin

But you still gotta learn that to part out one of the orphans is not acceptable to me. I feel that having a restored seated & a converted coach will be awesome. Then I have to have one for each of the kids too - I wouldn't want them taking mine  Grin

I don't envy having to carry those nads of yours if you're doing all that! I'm nervous as hell about borrowing more than I make in a month! (didn't stop me tho  Roll Eyes )

I'll bet you would benefit from a little ride down here this weekend to see us in the up-state. You might even get a few ideas of what not to do at your rally  Grin

chill, peace-out, later, TTFN

BTW Nicely done with the smileys  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

SEE Y'ALL
This is how REAL men settle a pissin contest!  Shocked
See how easy that was. & were both still here  Grin & bein' nice too  Shocked
