I've been going crazy lately (that's not a long drive...it's only a short putt) attempting to get all my tail and turn signal lights working.
In the process I've found that the northern winters, salt and all have taken their toll on the surface mounted, aluminum housed rear lamps on my MC5.
I've managed to track all the corroded, brittle wires back to their sources and have replaced 'em with modern tinned Marine wire.
You're RIGHT, again FF, quality is better!
The biggest problem is finding replacement lamp asemblies...'cause I ain't gonna put the original stuff from MCI back on!

What the reason for converting this ol' gal if I don't stray just a bit from original. Not too far though, mind you.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Finding a supplier who seels anything but individual lights is a pain. I don't want to cut into my beautiful S/S paneling and find out that what I've installed is obsolete tomorrow. Hell, I've got a computer like that!

Please, let the idea flow like water in a river. Speaking of flowing....Jack is calling! Every time I pass through Lynchburg...I throw a wreath on Jack's grave!
