North Carolina Rally I-95/ Fayettville KOA  5/16 - 5/18  2008'


Want to post a heads up that on May 16 thru 18, 2008,  Gene Lewis and Darrell Passer are hosting a bus rally on the Eastern side of the state. 
The rally is located near Fayetteville (just North of Fayetteville) at Wade, NC.  The KOA campground is immediately off I-95 at Wade.     
They have blocked 25 adjacent spaces for buses.  The sites appear to be large pull-throughs.   There are more sites with 30A and 50A, but they are not blocked for us...they are back-in, and would be available on first come basis.   
Incomplete coaches, S&S, and even tents are OK as this CG offers tent camping and bath facilities.
For those that don't know Gene, he was the most excellent BarbeeQ chef at the last T'ville Rally...and Dave Lang was Big Chief chef for the first T'ville (cooked a whole pig!)...MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!  And Dave don't live far from this'n  either!     
The format will be similar to Kyle's successful Non-Bus Rally.

Here's the info for U to make your reservations:
Fayetteville KOA   ---   I-95 - Exit 61   ---   Wade, NC 28395
There's an "Online" reservation service listed on their website.
Group Rates apply for one (1) day early and (1) day after.
            Water/Electric site (30 amp)  $ 31.00 per day
            Full hook-up site (50 amp)     $ 36.00 per day

Rates are for 2 adults and 2 childern.
 
Each attendee to make his/her own reservation.  Reservations requirements are one night's deposit on Visa or MC.
This is a done deal, so feel free to sign on tonight!

UPDATE from Gene Lewis
To answer a question U had on the board about Rally Fees.  We presently don't have a fee to attend.  We are going to try and avoid that - it may have to change in the future.  Right now we are wanting  folks to enjoy themselves and if the want to pitch in with part of a meal or money to offset what others will spend then that is fine.  We just don't want to scare good folk away with big rally fees.  This is basically what we did in Timmonsville and what Kyle did in SC.  We R interested in sharing bus knowledge and having good clean fun with good people.

 OK we are gearing up for the Bus-Nuts Gathering 2008 that will be held May 16-18th at the KOA I-95 at Wade, NC (see attached fliers). 

 This is on the MAK  and BNO Boards as  "North Carolina Rally I-95/ Fayetteville KOA  5/16 - 5/18  2008" ---  Renamed to be "Bus-Nuts Gathering 2008".

 This Gathering of Bus-Nuts (Rally) is a continuation of what started year before last in Timmonsville, SC.  Due to the fact that the dozer blade (progress) wiped the campground out and the fact that Dallas and Cat (the host) skipped the country - LOL - (they are hiding out at Busted Knuckles in western TN).  Some of us that were there and enjoyed ourselves decided that we did not want a good thing to die thus was born "Bus-Nuts Gathering 2008".

 If you already have made your reservations then please fill out the Registration Form and e-mail it back to me.  If U R interested in a T-shirt it will need to be under separate cover.

 There are only 25 slots reserved for the Rally with all the hookups therefore if U wish to attend it would be smart to follow the instructions on the flier.  We R expecting a full house.
