Has anyone else registered for this rally yet? Just curious! Who's going and who's not! If not, what's your excuse?? Is it the fuel prices? (it's the same for all of us, HIGH) Bus not finished? (they never are, so that's no excuse as long as it runs) Holiday? (What better way to spend it, and who with) Froze in? (what better way to thaw out) No money? (join the crowd) Never been there? (now your invited) Ok so what is it? That's what I thought! No excuse, so we'll see you there!  Ace |

Ace,
I'm trying to talk my wife into going now. Our bus is done........well, no bus is ever DONE, but you know what I mean/ It's done enough so that we are fulltiming in it! Anyway, we have friends in NC & Fl. that we haven't seen in years & the kids are old enough to get along without us at Christmas. She says the grand skids would miss us though...
I'm working on it!

Ace -Sadly, I won't be making the rally this year. My son's getting married the first weekend of November in Minneapolis/St.Paul, so there goes the air fare $$ to Jack's Party. . .  Of course, off-spring only get married for the first time once, so family comes first in this instance. However, 2010 is blocked out on the calendar!

Tom, we women have lots of fun. We get to know each other. There are so many things to keep us busy and happy. I have not been to this rally but at the others I attended I had a blast. If I wanted someone to talk to or something to do there was always something going on. If I wanted a chance to just chill out I could go inside my bus and read or nap. Tell her that from a woman's standpoint I think she should go and she will enjoy every minute. Cat

I've wanted to go so bad I could taste it for the last 6 months but there just didn't seem to be any way. We had made up our minds to spend one last winter in the deep freeze getting our house ready to put on the market in the spring. 10 days ago we had a buyer come literally out of nowhere wanting to buy it for cash, as is. Based on our conversation tonight it looks like it really is going to happen. I hadn't dared let myself hope but WE'RE GONNA BE IN ARCADIA this year. I too am looking forward to putting faces to names.
