We hate to do it but we need to sell our Silverside. Go ahead and Google "Silversides" and you will see how special and unique this diesel coach is. With some cosmetic work these are valued like vehicles of the same era, bigger though so more unique, can be worth $50,000 and up easily. Not many left and There may not be one of these anywhere in the beautiful running condition of this one. We drove it from Seattle to Denver 5 years ago and have since taken it to North Dakota and every state in between. Engine is a Detroit 671.LA39...they put these engines in tug boats and military amphibious.. the same year, - 1952 - we were shocked to find we got 14 miles to the gallon while being fully loaded. The chassis is a General Motors type PD 4103..this was RV'd in 1970 by Oregon Motor Coaches. After being in storage the holding tanks are all present but not hooked up. ONCE HOOKED, the conversion is ready with toilet, sink with vanity, tub and shower, propane stove and lots of cupboard space. Very confortable seating, tuck and roll nose upholstery, closets and queen size bed. Very drivable to where ever you need to go but needs an update. Tires new in 2007. TREAT YOURSELF TO A "ONE OF A KIND" MOTOR HOME. Your gain, my loss...due to joint replacements can't work on anything. We dreamed of making this into an ice cream parlor, all 50's..ONce cherried out, these coaches have sold for over $300,000.. no lie. There is a 1948 coach on a national sale site selling for over $800,000...we only ask $10990 obo...lowered $10,000 , for the main part of a future dream. email or..Call Dave at 303-249-0667 or 303-719-8645
