This was, and still can be, an amazing boondocking Bus Conversion. But I committed the ultimate RV sin by letting it sit too long. 

Tons of upgrades and new parts. I invested over $40,000. The guy I bought it from spent a lot more converting it. 

This is a project bus. No, you can’t drive it home without some skilled mechanical efforts.

• 1977 MCI MC-8 professionally converted in Goshen, IN
• Raised Roof (12.5″)
• Smooth sides
• Custom paint (still salvageable paint, but needs attention).
• Whole house AIMS POWER pure sine wave inverter/solar charge controller with eight roof-mounted solar panels
connected to four 8D batteries (barely used but now old)
• 10KW diesel generator, low hours, freshly serviced.
• New Airxcel/Coleman two-ton Central air/heat pump. (professionally installed)
• Full kitchen: stainless refrigerator/freezer, electric glass cook top, microwave/convection oven, Corian 
countertops. Stainless double sink with a nice faucet. 

• Nice aluminum wheels with low-mileage tires that are now old and dry-rotting.

• Marble tile kitchen floors,   

• Custom glass tile backsplash

• High-end wood cabinets

• Flat screen TV
• Rebuilt Detroit Diesel 8V71 with custom-ordered oversized aluminum radiators with electric fans. 
• Allison automatic transmission-excellent condition. 
• 2 new now old (1.27.22) 4D start batteries.
• Professionally plumbed in PEX – new toilet

• New, never-used instant hot water heater

• New air-line drier, all new shocks

• Rebuilt alternator, electric basement lock system.

The bus needs labor inside and out, but not the expensive parts and certainly NOT the big ticket stuff.

Starts easy and drives, but I don’t feel that it’s safe with the new but cracking tires and air leaks.

Bus needs to be jump-started.
